Maureen McGuire is the Executive Officer of Network SA Resource, Advisory & Management Services Inc. As manager and leader of the staff and operations at Network SA and Aboriginal Resource and Management Support Unit (ARMSU), she is responsible for ensuring that we deliver on our mission.
Maureen has worked in the children’s services and community services sectors for most of her working life, managing programs in the mainstream and Aboriginal services sectors. She has a long term commitment to quality, viable and accessible child care for families and to working in partnership with Aboriginal services to deliver culturally sustainable support.
Maureen’s vision is to lead Network SA and ARMSU as providers of services to government and the children’s services sector which are distinguished by their values base, professional knowledge and skills, cost effectiveness, practicality and innovation. Within the organisation, she seeks to develop a culture of professional standards of conduct and service delivery and recognition of achievement while supporting family friendly policies and work life balance.
Maureen works Monday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning.
Bev Pope is a Senior Management Consultant at Network SA Resource, Advisory and Management Services Inc. and manages the Network SA Extra Service. She has worked closely with mainstream and Aboriginal Children’s Services throughout South Australia and is committed to the development of respectful partnerships in the provision and support of child care and OSHC programs.
As a strong advocate for children, Bev supports community and private children’s services providers to incorporate quality practices, sound business principles and ethical employment standards in their delivery of care and education for children.
Bev’s experience in children’s services spans in excess of 30 years and encompasses child care, OSHC, youth work, training, mentoring, consultancy, project and event management, cross-cultural community development, HR, small business management, corporate governance, resource and policy development, research, advocacy, marketing, organisational restructuring, workplace relations, counselling and mediation. She holds formal qualifications in children’s services, social science, counselling, mediation and workplace training and assessment and has 17 years’ experience in workplace relations.
Bev works Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Senior Management Consultant
Graham Doody is a Senior Management Consultant of Network SA Resource, Advisory & Management Services Inc. He is responsible for providing advice, support, training and relevant referrals in relation to HR management, financial viability, corporate governance, business management skills, community ownership and legal accountability issues.
Graham’s experience is drawn from a wide range of employment backgrounds in Federal and State government and private sector organisations in Australia and the UK including 6 years in Department of Education and Child Development. He also brings past experience as a parent representative on child care centre and school management boards.
Graham has tertiary qualifications in human resource management. He is a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Graham works Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.
Michelle Webbe is the Communications Coordinator of Network SA Resource, Advisory & Management Services Inc. She is responsible for our online content for Network SA, Network SA Extra & ARMSU, including e-newsletters, publications, and resources and coming soon our updates on social media. She also organises our training and workshops and supports the team with other areas when needed.
Michelle has worked in the children’s services sector for over 20 years in various organisations including: LDC, OSHC, Family Day Care, TAFE, & Local Government in a wide range of roles: Children’s Services Educator & Director, FDC Coordinator, Community Development Project Officer, & Event Coordinator. Michelle holds a Diploma in Children’s Services, Cert V in Workplace Training, & First Line Management.
Michelle’s passion is to make a significant contribution with supporting services with the well-being of children, their families and communities through supporting excellence and equity in children’s services.
Michelle works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Sue Pens is the Office Manager of Network SA Resource, Advisory & Management Services Inc. Sue has been working in the children's services sector for 20 years. Her commitment to the sector and to well-being of all children has been a driving force in her choice of employer.
Sue's role within NetworkSA and ARMSU is complex. She provides financial management, administrative, reception and IT support services for our organisation, maintains our databases, coordinates training bookings and manages sales of resources.
Sue works Monday, Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday morning .
Resource Centre Coordinator
Sharolyn has worked in the Children's Services sector since 1995 in a diverse range of roles including childcare professional, administrator, resource centre support, Inclusion Support Facilitator, trainer and manager, working extensively in regional and remote areas.
Sharolyn is committed to working in partnership with SA Aboriginal children's services, recognising and building on their strengths. She works closely with directors, staff and governing bodies to ensure that they have access to professional development, support and advice that is relevant, culturally safe, and meets needs in the services.
Together with the services she wants to see Aboriginal children growing up strong and supports the services to provide quality programs for children and families.
Sharolyn works Fridays for ARMSU.
We are governed by a Board drawn from our membership, which is elected at an Annual General Meeting. The current Board has 6 elected members, 1 member co-opted by the Board following a resignation and 2 appointed members.
Manager, Strategic Partnerships, Aboriginal Health Division, Acute and Community Services, Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN)
Cathy Leane is a Darug woman from NSW, mother to 3 adult children and carer to other children. She has over 20 years’ experience working in early childhood education sector, including as a Director of a child care centre, community development facilitator and home visiting support worker.
In 2007 Cathy joined the Social Inclusion Unit where she contributed to policy work in the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing reference. In 2011 she joined the Aboriginal Health Division, Women’s and Children’s Health Network (WCHN), in the newly created role of Manager, Strategic Partnerships. She works closely with the Aboriginal Family Birthing Program and contributes to improving the cultural competence of WCHN.
Cathy holds a BA (Aboriginal Studies) and is currently undertaking a Master’s in Public Health. She understands the importance of the Early Years and the interplay with social determinants of health in shaping life outcomes. She is passionate about good outcomes for Aboriginal children and is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
Plan Support Coordinator, Team Leader, National Disability Insurance Agency
Linda has worked within the early childhood and disability sector for over 30 years, including as Director of a child care centre, leader of inclusion support teams and Manager of an inclusion support agency. In that time she has seen significant change and learning as a result of research and development in the early childhood field. Highlights of Linda’s career have been managing staff teams who showed so much passion and dedication working with children and families, and her experiences supporting many special children while in the UK and here in South Australia.
Linda’s current position has provided new learning opportunities as she participates in the development of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, a major reform of disability services in Australia.
Chief Financial Officer, Dr+Group
Leanne is a CPA member with 10 years’ experience working across a number of industries including facility maintenance, wine export and viticulture and financial services. Her current role as CFO is in the Information Technology, Audio Visual and Telecommunications industry for the Dr+Group.
Leanne has a keen interest in using her accounting knowledge to support community services and small business.
Leanne was co-opted onto the Board in February 2017 to fill a vacancy following a resignation.
Social Worker, Child Family and Specialist Services; UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (UCWB)
Di has been working with children and families in the western suburbs of Adelaide for more than 10 years. Having four children of her own she is very aware of the struggles that families can experience, and how with the right support in place they can overcome barriers to reach their full potential.
Di completed her Bachelor of Social Work in 2016 after years of part time study while she worked. She is currently engaged in the provision of early intervention and prevention programs and services for children up to the age of 12 years, and their families.
She is passionate about supporting children and their families, building on their strengths and utilising community supports and networks.
Senior lecturer, Children’s Services; TAFE SA
Tracy’s career began working in various children’s services as a child care educator, team leader, acting director and a coordinator. Keen to extend her interest in how children learn and develop, she completed some further study at Bristol University (United Kingdom) and University of SA. In 2014 Tracy was a participant in a study tour to Reggio Emilia.
This has laid the foundation for her current work in adult education. As a Senior Lecturer in the Children’s Services program at TAFESA, Tracy leads a team of staff designing professional learning opportunities for people working towards qualifications and for existing educators and staff teams working in Children’s Services across the State who want to engage in professional learning.
Tracy has a strong commitment to the provision of early childhood care and education that is based on the establishment of a secure and positive relationship with a significant adult.
Her work is based on the belief that children develop trust in others, themselves and in their environment through establishing and maintaining close, positive, reciprocal relationships where the educator is consistent, reliable, attentive and genuine in their interactions. Tracy believes that children of all ages learn and develop optimally within the context of positive relationships.
Director, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Community Child Care Centre
Sabrina has been working in children’s services for over 15 years as a Team Leader, Assistant Director and now Director. She has worked with children from 4 months to 6 years, including children with additional and special needs, and is a parent of 3 children and grandparent of 1.
As a young woman Sabrina commenced a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Music then went back to study later in life to complete a Diploma in Children’s Services through TAFESA.
Sabrina is a member of Community Children’s Centres of South Australia (CCCSA) and has a strong interest in environmental education and reconciliation.

Jacqui is a highly accomplished HR professional with over 20 years’ experience in the higher education sector at the University of Adelaide and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. On her return from Saudi Arabia Jacqui worked for Network SA before resuming her employment with the University of Adelaide.
As part of her role at Adelaide Jacqui is the Business Manager of the University’s Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre.
A desire to continue to contribute to Network SA after her resignation from the staff team prompted Jacqui to nominate for a position on the Board.
